Crescent-chested Warbler (Parula superciliosa), Arivaca Cienega, Pima County

This Crescent-chested Warbler was found by Ginny Seabrook  and 14 others on 02 April 2011 on the
morning bird walk she was leading at Arivaca Cienega.  It was photographed by Jerome Smith on 02 April 2011.

Casual visitor to SE Arizona.  There are fewer than ten previous records.  This is the first record for Pima County.

Bluish gray head with broad white suppercilium and yellow  throat with chestnut crescent make this stiking warbler unmistakable.
