Chestnut-sided Warbler (Dendroica pensylvanica), Sweetwater Wetlands, Pima County

This Chestnut-sided Warbler was photographed by Philip Kline and Andrew Core on 29 October 2011.

Will Russell heard a Chestnut-sided Warbler at this location the previous day. It was likely this same bird.

Casual transient, sometimes overwinters.

Probable first-year female. Unmistakable with chartreuse upper parts contrasting with clean gray underparts with bold white eye-ring.
