Ovenbird (Seiurus aurocapilla), Quigley Wildlife Management Area, Yuma County

This Ovenbird was discovered and photographed by Gary Graves on 01 May 2013 in the rectangular cottonwood grove in the Quigley Wildlife Area which is north of Tacna.

Ovenbird is a rare but annual transient in Arizona.

This is a distinctive walking warbler with dull olive-green upperparts, white eye-ring, two latural crown stripes with an orange patch in the center, and dense streaking on the white underparts.
