Brown Booby (Sula leucogaster), Lake Havasu, Mohave County

This Brown Booby was discovered by Davide Vander Pluym on 13 August 2013 and photographed by Tom Benson on 14 August 2013.

Prior to 2013, there were seven previous records.  This is the second one reported this year and appears to be a different individual with darker underparts.

Juvenile Brown Booby. Identified by uniformly brown plumage with extensively white under wing coverts; gray bill and bluish gray facial skin, pale pinkish or flesh-colored legs and feet.
