White-eared Hummingbird (Hylocharis leucotis), Marshall Gulch, Mount Lemmon, Pima CountyThis White-eared Hummingbird was
found by Rob Rackliffe, Virginia Fairchild, and Frieda
Worral and photographed by Rob Rackliffe on 26 June 2014 White-eared Hummingbird is a rare summer resident in
the mountains of southeastern Arizona. Mount Lemmon is
farther north than the species typically occurs.
The extremely prominent, bright white eyebrow of both
