Common Grackle (Quiscalus quiscula), Cameron, Coconino County

This Common Grackle was found and photographed by Roy Morris on 14 April 2014

There are now 28 accepted records for the state. This species has been expanding in New Mexico and may be expected to occur more often in Arizona in the future.

Iridescent blue head contrasting with bronzy back and and wings, stout bill, light eyes.
