Common Grackle (Quiscalus quiscula), Willcox, Cochise County

This Common Grackle was found and photographed by Max & Lynn Jarrett on 05 November 2014

There are almost 30 records for the state. This species has been expanding in New Mexico and may be expected to occur more often in Arizona in the future.

Iridescent blue head contrasting with bronzy back and and wings, stout bill, light eyes.
