Leucistic Mexican Jay (Aphelocoma wollweberi), Portal, Cochise County

This leucistic Mexican Jay was photographed by Brendon Grice on 15 August 2015

Leucism is fairly commonly reported in corvids, but is rarely reported in this species.

Photos show symmetrical partially white feathers on the central rectrices, central tertials, and at least one primary.
