White-eared Hummingbird (Hylocharis leucotis), Madera Canyon Kubo, Santa Cruz County

An immature male White-eared Hummingbird was reported by Gavin Bieber from Madera Kubo on 9 May. A male White-eared Hummingbird (with no more qualifiers) was reported by David Stejskal on the 11th from Kubo. This adult male White-eared Hummingbird was photographed by Laurens Halsey on 14 May 2008.

White-eared Hummingbird is a rare summer resident in the mountains of Southeastern Arizona.
