Yellow-throated Vireo (Vireo flavifrons), Cienega Creek, Pima County

Yellow-throated Vireo is a casual transient and summer visitor to southeast Arizona. This individual was found and photographed by Moez Ali along Cienega Creek, Pima County, on June 5, 2007. Cienega Creek Preserve is one of Arizona's under-birded areas. Moez's multiple interesting bird finds there this spring and summer highlight its potential. These documenting photographs have also been submitted to the Arizona Bird Committee as the species is on the review list.
